Jamie Grant has been fascinated by drums and percussion since he could hold a rattle, making drum kits out of any household objects, yellow pages, pots and pans and speaker stands.
Joining ‘the boys brigade 16th  Harringay’ gave him access to real drums and the opportunity to learn rudiment patterns. Starting on the snare drum in the marching band, moving on to playing marching band toms and then moving on to the bass drum, to band leader.
Jamie always had a pair of drumsticks on him at junior school and now at home, playing on anything and everything. He has had the privilege of playing in a few bands over the past 10 years, broadening his repertoire. He has now found his happy rhythm in this great band with great musicians and lovely people.
